3 Reasons Why I Decided to Rebrand My Business
Rebranding your business can feel like stepping into the unknown, a leap of faith, fraught with uncertainty.
But what if that leap is precisely what your business needs to thrive?
Let me take you on my journey through the daunting yet rewarding process of rebranding, where fear meets opportunity and transformation leads to growth.
So, without further ado, let’s dive in.
Reason 1: Improving SEO
This is a big one.
I desperately needed better SEO.
As we’ve seen time after time, social media can disappear at any moment. So having a strong SEO that drives organic traffic to my website helps protect against the unknown.
I knew SEO was important, but never quite took it seriously until recently. As a bonus, I’m able to organize my current website in a cleaner, sharper look. Plus it’s easier to find and digest the information.
I wanted to do the same for my user experience. I see SEO as a “fail-safe” just in case social media ever goes dark.
I now have an entire page dedicated to my articles that revolve around 4 topics:
Copywriting
Personal Branding
Monetizing Knowledge
And Solopreneurship/Business
Each topic act as a “pillar” based off of my own personal values and experiences.
They’re also color-coded, which makes it easy for users to differentiate what they’re looking for, and it also boosts the visual appeal of the site.
Reason 2: Strayed From Company Vision
As a company grows and evolves, its vision and goals may change.
And sometimes, its values can get caught up in it as well.
I felt as if my current branding, brand name, and visual identity no longer aligned with the new vision, so it was time to rebrand.
My business was representing what others wanted, no longer what I believed in.
I lost control of my business, so I’m taking back control and staying true to my values and beliefs.
Reason 3: Targeting New Audiences
As a brand grows, so do we as business owners.
I’ve never been one to “hop on the next hot trend”, but I do see value in this new avenue.
I believe it will be around for a long time and I want to be able to grow with it.
I was able to create a rebranding strategy that helps companies expand their own brand by leveraging my voice and expertise while maintaining brand recognition and professionalism.
Conclusion
My new branding and website is clean, straightforward, organized, and focuses on the user experience.
No more clutter.
I’ve made room for what really matters most to people who visit my website:
Valuable, actionable content
Calls-to-action that guide you towards your next steps
My LinkedIn & Twitter (X) reflect my branding and values, and philosophies.
I needed a new identity that represented my business today, which is who I am and what I want.
By professionalizing my brand and optimizing my website for SEO, I hope to provide you with a better experience and more valuable content for many years to come.
I invite you to explore my new website, check out the articles, and join me as we head towards this new direction.
Thanks for reading! And I’ll see you next week.
Cheers,
